The Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori – Early Childhood Whole Centre Programme provides everything your early childhood centre needs to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori with confidence, authenticity and ease.

Designed specifically for young tamariki with little or no prior knowledge of te reo Māori, this complete, ready-to-deliver programme provides a five-day beginner te reo Māori programme created for early childhood learning environments.

Each day includes an engaging animated learning session, supported by age-appropriate activities, reinforcement games and resources that provide opportunities for tamariki to hear, practise and use new te reo Māori vocabulary in meaningful and enjoyable ways.

The programme has been designed with young learners in mind, with an emphasis on oral language, participation, movement, play and repetition rather than formal written learning. Clear guidance and pronunciation professional learning also support kaiako to deliver the programme confidently and accurately.
